It eliminates the primary cause of tiled surface cracking and delamination by providing uncoupling through its open rib structure, which permits in-plane movement that efficiently neutralizes the differential movement stresses between the substrate and the tile. In both indoor and outdoor applications, it offers dependable waterproofing. Because most substrates are moisture sensitive in today's building environment, its polyethylene composition protects the substrate from moisture penetration.
